Every lane alarms on itself

A lane shows healthy here only because its job completed and proved it — the same dead-man's-switch discipline described on the security page, with the needle made public. A quiet failure is the one failure this product refuses to have.

Reading the lanes. This can take up to half a minute.

How to read this. Operational — the lane's most recent run completed and beat its alarm inside twice its expected interval. Delayed — the last proof is older than expected; the watch may simply be between runs. Interrupted — the last run failed to prove itself, and the same signal that turns this pill red pages us. No signal yet — the lane is new and has not produced its first proof; absence of a heartbeat is reported, never papered over.
